About
The Lorentz Center is a workshop center that hosts international workshops in all scientific disciplines. The workshops are characterized by an open and interactive atmosphere and their high scientific quality. Daring workshops are very much welcome.
We aim to bring scientific fields and minds together and we endorse diversity in the broad sense: scientific level, gender, culture and geography.
We promote innovative research, at the scientific frontiers as well as on complex societal challenges. Our specialty is to foster collaboration between research communities, reaching also beyond academia. Our workshops are characterized by ample time for active discussions and informal interactions.
