New PI meeting
Prior to the above mentioned PI meeting, the NWO Round Table Chemistry, NextGenChem and the Royal Netherlands Chemical Society (KNCV) join forces to organise a ‘New’ PI meeting. Whether you are recently appointed as staff member (max. ~5 years after appointment), or have just arrived in the Dutch academic landscape as a(n) (assistant/associate) professor or HBO lecturer: this meeting intends to guide you through this landscape and connect to other ‘New’ PIs. The event starts at 15:45 on 1 December 2025 and is free of charge. After the New PI meeting participants can continue their evening at the regular PI meeting.
The topic of the New PI meeting is ‘Presenting with Impact’. Together with presentation trainer Marloes ten Kate we will explore how to present the story of your research line with impact. During the event, participants can enter a giveaway for an Eye-Opener video
