Criteria
Posters will be judged based on the following criteria:
- Appearance: Quality of the poster design/layout and its visual appeal to the audience.
- Content: Scientific quality, clarity of the research, and presentation of results.
- Presentation: Quality of the oral presentation during the regular poster session.
The poster awards
Five poster prizes will be awarded. One for each programme track and one for the overall theme:
€250,- Chemistry of Bonding poster award (annual theme)
€250,- Chemical Conversion poster award
€250,- Chemistry of Life poster award
€250,- Chemistry of Materials poster award
€250,- Fundamentals and Methods of Chemistry poster award
Award ceremony of the demo & poster awards
The NWO CHAINS poster awards will be awarded on Wednesday 3 December 2025 at the end of the conference day. If the nominated winner is not present during the ceremony, the prize will be awarded to the runner-up.
